Capturing the timeless interplay between the rising sun and the setting moon, artist Jason Long has created this FireDome that depicts the ancient belief that it was actually the power of the gods that moved the heavens above. As some figures struggle to raise the sun into the sky, others are gently settling the moon to its rest.
