All of our mailboxes are made from a combination of copper and brass. While these copper mailboxes come in standard styles, some are decorative, as well, with a style much like an old-fashioned steam trunk. All of these residential mailboxes have a body made of copper, and the frame is made from brass, including the mailbox flag. The decorative steam trunk mailboxes have this same composition, only the top is decorated with ribs of brass with detail to resemble a trunk. How much detail? Each of these pieces of brass is designed to have the look of a belt loop with holes.
